The theme for this years’ activities is service at work in recognition of the efforts and contributions of its customers.
Some of the activities earmarked for the week included Guest Telling, an exercise where top executives of the bank serve as tellers in various branches. According to Aminata Kamara, she said this initiative was first introduced in 1991 when the bank commenced operations as a mandatory responsibility for all staff irrespective of position and that over the years, it has become a recurring activity. She also said customers were also enjoined to send comments and suggestions through the Bank’s website on how to improve service delivery.
