According to reliable information gathered by Awoko Sports fourteen Weightlifters with different body weight categories ranging from 65.0 to 90.6 from 6 Gym Schools participated in the one-day trial.
According to the National Weightlifting Coach, Sonny Johnson the dates for the Championship have been slated for the 28th March to the 2nd April 2012 in the Kenyan Capital, Nairobi.
Sonny also disclosed that each Weightlifter was given three snatch chances and three clean and jerk chances at the trial.
