Four Sierra Leonean Lawn Tennis Coaches over the weekend left Freetown to undergo the International Tennis Federation (ITF) Level II Coaching course in Monrovia, Liberia.
This was disclosed to Awoko Sports by the Secretary General of the Association, Yayah Koroma, who also stated that they are the first Sierra Leonean Lawn Tennis Coaches to undergo a level two course.
He also stated that it was the Lawn Tennis Association that made the request to ITF for our Coaches as all of them have only done level one coaching course.
The SLLTA scribe hoped the course will help bring success towards the game in the country and will also help boost the players’ skills and techniques on the court.
The four Coaches include: Amara Kamara who is the Western Area Head Coach, Umaru Tarawallie from Makeni, Brian A Peacock from Kenema and Amadu Bangura.
