Five Sierra Leonean athletes will participate in the Commonwealth youth game in India this October.
Speaking to Awoko Sports the president of the National Olympic Committee (NOC), Henry Moore, said this was the first time Sierra Leone would take part in such major competition.
He also noted that only three sporting disciplines would participate in the competition with the Athletics Association producing two males Solomon Kambay and Umaru Alie with one female Michaela Kargbo
While Emmanuel Winston Gboyah will represent table tennis in the game, and the other sporting discipline that will benefit from the competition is lawn tennis which will be represented by Abubakarr Kargbo.
