The female football competition, which started some years ago by Coach Hassan Turay, is now gaining momentum as the Kingtom Football Association (KFA) has decided to organize it. The competition will see all the female teams in the country coming to revamp the game once more in the country. The Kingtom Football Association has already got the blessing from the deputy minister of Education Youth and Sports, Dr Algassimu Jah, who declared the competition open.
Alhaji Tarawally, the association’s president, said for the competition to start the president of Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA), Nahim Kadi, did every thing possible finically to make their dreams a reality.
“After several companies failed to come to our aid, it was President Nahim Kadi who because of his passion for the game that wasted no time to come on board,” he noted.
He disclosed that, “the competition is a non profitable one but it will also help to keep the clubs fit for the national female league that will start very soon countrywide.”
