As the Premier League continues, four teams have registered wins in matches played over the weekend.

On Saturday, Wusum Stars defeated Mighty Blackpool by a goal to nil to lead the league table with 9 points from 4 matches, while Blackpool has barely secured a point from two matches.
On the same day, Saturday at the National Stadium, East End Lions continued their superb winning spree over Diamond Stars when they defeated them by a goal to nil (1-0) the only goal being as scored in the first half of the match.
In the second half of play, Diamond Stars failed to level the score line when they missed a penalty. East End Lions now has under their belt 4 points. On Sunday, FC Johansen also continued their unbeatable record when they trashed Kamboi Eagles by two goals to one (2-1) to secure 8 points from 4 games played, while Kamboi Eagles have secured 7 points.
The league continues tomorrow, February 1st 2012 at the National Stadium with Old Edwardians locking horns with defending champions Ports Authority. Both teams have lost their first two matches without securing any point.
