FC Kallon, Sierra Leone’s Premier League runners up are preparing to participate in this year’s annual Viarreggio Tournament in Italy.
This will be the team’s second appearance in the tournament which always attracts big clubs in Europe and also football scouts from across the top European leagues.
According to reliable information the team is more prepared for this tournament this year compared to last year that is why they are undergoing intensive training ahead of the tournament to get the boys fit.
Information also revealed that the tournament has been a key to FC Kallon’s unique ability to market their players in Europe.
Mohamed Pobosky Bangura and Ibrahim Tetteh now playing for AIK Stockholm were spotted at this tournament.
According to some members of the team they will largely comprise of very young upcoming stars. “The tournament will feature youthful sides as many of the scouts that will be turning up will be targeting young players.”
