FC kallon in a bid to beef up their squad for the new season have decided to give six players to Old Edwardians for their midfield maestro Abu Kanu.
According to information the chairman of FC Kallon, Mohamed Kallon want the midfield player at all cost to be part of his team for the coming Premier League Sesaon and he has decided to do such a deal with his own former club.
The information also revealed that if the player secured any international contract the money paid for the player will be shared equal between Old Edwardians and FC kallon.
In a short interview with Old Edwardians coach, John junior konneh said he was contacted for the player by Mohamed Kallon in exchange for six players plus cash for Abu Kanu
According to coach Konneh he told Kallon that for his own part as coach, the player is not for sale, because the player is very vital to the club’s development, but he can’t decide alone as theclub’s executive will have to take the decision.
He also stated that the player in question if everything goes on as planned will soon secured international contract in Sweden
He also disclosed that even if the deal goes on, the six players cannot of fill the gap of Abu Kanu, because the players they want to give us are not regular players of FC Kallon.
In another development, coach Junior Konneh disclosed that about seven new players have decided to join Old Edwardians to beef up the squad for the coming season. It is now in the hands of the coming executive to respond to the needs of the players.
