In a friendly match between FC Kallon and the Marampa Stars that was played under heavy down pour of rain last weekend at the Lunsar town field, FC Kallon defeated their host by three goals to one.
Mohamed Bangura put the visitors ahead after 15 minutes of play and from then on they were in full control of the first half.
Pressure started mounting on FC Kallon immediately after the restart and Abdurrahman Bangura leveled the score.
After the goal the pressure was on FC Kallon, and they had to up their efforts and in the 50th minute Ogboski scored the second goal for FC Kallon.
After the goal, Marampa Stars went on the offensive but were unable to convert their chances to goals. FC Kallon got a free kick and former international and chairman of FC Kallon, Mohamed Kallon came in in time to take the free that he converted for the third goal of FC Kallon.
The match was fiull to capacity as most people wanted to witness the life performance of Mohamed Kallon.
At the end of the match Mohamed Kallon donated 3 set of football jerseys to the Marampa Stars through the chairman of Marampa Stars, Idrissa Kamara.
According to Kallon he was overwhelmed with the support he received from the authorities of Marampa Chiefdom, adding that he demonstrated his talent in Lunsar in order to motivate upcoming footballers in the chiefdom to put Sierra Leone on the football map.
The paramount chief of Marampa chiefdom PC Bai Koblo Queen II said they were very much thrilled for Mohamed Kallon’s intervention into his community as his presence will benefit the youths through transfer of technical skills and talents.
