A cross section of the executive of the Guild of Newspaper Editors have bidded an emotional farewell to the outgoing Executive Representative of the UN Secretary General to Sierra Leone Michael Von Schulemberg.
The outgoing ERSG was very instrumental in the setting up of the Guild and has encouraged the executive to ensure that they commit themselves to work for the good of Sierra Leone. The group recalled earlier meetings with the ERSG and acknowledged the role he played in selling its programs to the head of the peace building fund and the UNDP.
The group expressed their regret at losing him at this critical stage in the formation of the association but wished him well in all his future endeavours.
