The Administrative Manager of East End Lions Football Club, Abdul Karim Kabba (AKK), has said the FA is the father of all football activities in the country, that since the Premier League Board (PLB) has been approved by the FA they are to work by the dictates of the FA. “So I believe whatever decision being made by the PLB and the 14 clubs is not final; it’s the FA that has the right to make the final decision regarding the cancellation of the league.” He said as a team, “we have always prepared, our boys mentally, almost every day they are doing their self-trainings. We have a WhatsApp group where we are monitoring their daily activities; and all of them are posting their daily normal routine exercises and they are getting in touch with coach John Keister.”
“The fans of East End Lions are always the major stakeholders of the club, without the fans believe me you can’t talk about Lions. You can have your powerful 30 players, technical team, executive and you can go to the stadium, but if there is no single fan in the field to cheer up the boys, they will not be motivated. “I want to talk to my dynamic supporters that let’s all stay safe, follow the preventive measures put in place for COVID-19. Lions is still operating fully and any time we are called upon to go participate in any football activity, we are always ready to do that. Once again I want them to know that we appreciate all what they’ve been doing for East End Lions. We have them in our hearts and we would make sure that we never let them down,” he concluded.
