Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – In preparation for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers, Ethiopia’s new head coach, Gebremedhin Haile, has announced a 30-man squad to face Sierra Leone and Burkina Faso. The matches are part of the new African zone qualifying format, with Ethiopia drawn in Group A alongside Egypt, Burkina Faso, Guinea-Bissau, Sierra Leone, and Djibouti.
The squad comprises a mix of skilled players across all positions:

Midfielders: 15. Gatoch Panom
Forwards: 22. Getaneh Kebede
