The impasse in the Sierra Leone Athletics Association (SLAA) over leadership ended yesterday after Emric Cole was approved by 10 presidents of different associations under the National Olympic Committee (NOC).
After the three-man committee read their findings all those who were in the meeting decided that they should solve the problem at once. So the 10 presidents voted and out of the 10 votes cast six were in favour of Emric Cole.
The president of NOC, Henry Moore, said he was going to inform the IAAF on the decision taken by the members.
