Emmanuel Pessima, who was the Secretary-General of the ‘Kenemmanjane’ Cricket club (KCC) has been appointed as chairman of the club.
His appointment is as a result of a restructuring of its executive committee which will run the affairs of the club, ahead of the new cricket club season.
According to the newly-appointed Chairman, he is ready to face the challenge in administering the club and his priority is to take KCC to the top of club cricket in the country.
Pessima said: “It was good for us to make this move now and start our preparation for the forthcoming league season, as we are eyeing success both on and off the ovals.
Beside the competitions, we want to set the brightest example in club cricket and with teamwork, we will achieve our goal,” he said.
Other members of the executive are Vice Chairman , Olu Compagnie-Coker, Sahr Morris Jr.-Secretary General, Musa Ganda- Assistant Secretary-General, Jane Aspden- Women and Girls coordinator, James Tonner International Development Officer, Bernard Turay-Treasurer, Jonathan Kojo Mammah-Development Officer, Mark Burrows-Youth Coordinator, Bockarie Allieu- Media and Marketing Officer and Patrick M. Kamara- Welfare Officer.
The new club restructuring involves the Management Committee and the Executive Committee with Dr. Bob Thomas being appointed as the Chief Patron of the Management Committee, while Kenwyn S. Williams, Dr. Godfrey Horatio Sam Aggrey, Dr. Sahr John Kpundeh and Abdul Tejan Cole are all patrons.
The Executive Committee includes; Emmanuel Pessima as Chairman, Olu Compagnie-Coker-Vice Chairman, Sahr Morris Jr.-Secretary General, Musa Ganda- Assistant Secretary General, Jane Aspden- Women and Girls coordinator.
