Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – Ecobank Sierra Leone has aligned with its counterparts across 34 African nations to launch the AFCON TotalEnergies Ivory Coast 2023
The promotional event was live streamed in all 35 affiliate countries. In Sierra Leone, it was live-streamed at the Family Kingdom, Aberdeen in Freetown on Friday.

Highlighting the involvement of customers, stakeholders, and the soccer community, the launch event at the Family Kingdom featured a live stream of the Ivory Coast ceremony, uniting Ecobankers and enthusiasts across diverse African markets.
Ecobank Sierra Leone’s Head of Brand Communications and Marketing, Sheikh Omaru Jalloh, unveiled an exciting promotion accompanying the tournament. Starting from January 13, 2024, customers engaging with Ecobank’s digital channels have the chance to win prizes, including the grand prize of Le 50,000. The promotion runs until February 29, 2024, encouraging users to utilize mobile apps, USSD, and various cards.
Harold Nat Johnson, VP of the Sierra Leone Football Association, expressed the significance of Ecobank’s sponsorship and anticipated a bright future for Sierra Leone in future tournaments.
