East End Lions football team which was currently leading the league table with 26 points with 10 matches played needed only a single point to win the league.
On Friday at the Kenema Town field they held Kamboi Eagles to a one all draw to secure the one vital point.
They now have 27 points which no other team can secure even if they win all their remaining matches.
They have now played 11 matches with 2 more games to go.
