The much talked about division one play-off will kick start this Friday September 11 at two venues in Bo and Kenema fields respectively.
The competition will be organized by the Western Area Football Association (WAFA) and the play-off will comprises of 10 teams with five teams coming from the Western Area Two teams from both Northern and Southern region respectively and one from the Eastern Region.
The 10 teams have been divided into two groups and in group A teams will play at the Kenema Town Field. The teams are Sierra Leone police FC, Yambatu Stars, Wellington people, Gem Stars and one team from the North.
In Group B, the matches will be played in Bo Coronation Field and the teams are Diamond FC, Belvic United, RSLAF, Freetown City Council FC and the other team from the North.
The winners and runners up from each group will qualify for the semi finals and the matches are expected to play in the National Stadium. The finalists will automatically qualify for the Premier League that is expected to kick start early next month.
