The Deputy Bank governor of Bank of Sierra Leone Miss Adrina Caulker and entourage have paid a days familiarization visit to Kenema city Eastern Sierra Leone to see the Bank staff in Kenema and see how they can contribute to the development of the bank of Sierra Leone branch office in Kenema city.
She further maintained that the tour of the bank was also aimed at looking into the strategies they want to incorporate into the banking system in the country.
At the Eastern Polytechnic campus, the Principal of the college Dr. Sandi Bockarie pleaded with the Deputy Bank Governor to assist the Eastern Polytechnic for the completion of the college Library saying that the Eastern Polytechnic is just seven years old and that the Institution trains manpower resources in the country.
At the Resident Minister’s office Hon. William Juana Smith welcomed the delegation and appealed to them to do all they can to make the Bank of Sierra Leone grow to higher heights.
Hon. William Juana Smith expressed sympathy to the Bank for the loss of their senior staff, saying that the late Bank Manager in Kenema was very much cooperative to the community people.
At the Paramount chiefs compound the Paramount chief of Nongowa chiefdom in the Kenema district PC Alhaji Amara Bonya Vangahun also extended gratitude to the Bank of Sierra Leone delegation for having considered his office and appealed to them to help complete the Nongowa chiefdom Administrative court bari at Hangha road, which he described as a multipurpose building, pointing out that it has been under construction for the past years.
