On 12th November 2012, in Freetown, Adeyemi Justin Patrick Johnson was allegedly killed. A woman named Alakeh Olive Johnson together with seven young men were arrested and charged with two counts: Conspiracy and Murder. In addition Alakeh Olive Johnson is also charged with Accessory before the Fact to the same offence. After several hearing before Justice Sam Margai, the matter was transferred to Justice Momoh-Jah Stevens close to the end of the last criminal session.

The matter was called up for hearing before Justice Stevens on Tuesday 24 September 2019 but the defense counsel was not present. The prosecutor I. Kanneh informed the Judge that one reason why the matter has delayed was due to the absenteeism of the defense counsel. Justice Stevens directed that notices be served on the defense counsel for him to appear and address the jurors. No bail was granted to the accused. The matter was adjourned to 1st October 2019.
