One of Sierra Leone’s most influential artists, Daddy Saj, has officially changed his name to “Diamond Saj.” Daddy Saj, as he was known, is one of the few individuals who came out very strongly in 2003 to criticize and reveal the corrupt and unscrupulous politicians in the Sierra Leone government – that could have cost him his life. However, he made it through and is still going strong! Since his major hit “Corruption E Do So,” singled out the selfishness and greed that was thriving through the Republic of Sierra Leone, and Africa as a whole, it was then that the citizens of Sierra Leone became aware and more vocal about the situation infringing on their Human Rights. “There is still much more to come from Diamond Saj, my passion for music has never stopped, and for those who don’t know, I am presently in the studio collaborating with several famous US celebrities in New York City and Washington DC, on my 6th album which should be out no later than 2009! To all my fans, you mean so much to me, I love you from the bottom of my heart, and I hope to see you very soon; I love you and God Bless,” stated the recently re-branded Diamond Saj!
