The President of the Sierra Leone Taekwondo association Oness Johnson has told Awoko Sports that the Zone Two Mano River Union competitions in Guinea is a starting point for the association.
The competition is going to involve Guinea (host) Sierra Leone and Liberia.
According to the Oness Johnson the competition is organized by the Guinean TAEKWONDO Federation, in honour of the Guinean President, H.E Alpha Konde.
The competition will be Sierra Leone’s first ever international TAEKWONDO competition, after getting recognition from the International Federation.
He said they are even hoping to host the next competition, in 2013.
He appealed to business houses and individuals to help the new- born baby to grow.
He went further to thank the National Olympic Committee for their support to make the trip a reality.
