The Sierra Leone Commercial Bank (SLCB), on Saturday 9th November organized sports at the national Stadium practice field. The aim of the sport is to build a better relationship with workers within the office and also strengthen the bond with a sister bank. Taking part in the event were workers of the Rokel Commercial Bank (RCB) as they were invited by the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank. The sports were football match, field and track events. The event started with a football match between active players versus veteran players. Before the commencement of the match a welcome address was given by one of the workers to Rokel Commercial Bank for honouring their invitation. He further thanked other branches of the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank nationwide for the support and work they have been doing. Abdulai Fidelis Turay the Managing Director of the Sierra Leone Commercial Bank said they should not see Rokel Commercial Bank as competitors but rather service providers, and in the position the SLCB is not at a particular location, the RCB should be there to provide service and the same thing applies to them.
