Three cocaine suspects Bai Kargbo, Sajoh Saar, and Baimba Kamara had their cases adjourned by magistrate Deen Tarawalie of Magistrate court No. 1, after a submission was made by state Counsel Gerald E. Sowie.
According to Mr. Sowie, he said the court at the moment had problems with renumbering and arranging the accused persons.
Secondly, the state counsel reiterated that the third accused Baimba Kamara did not have legal representation in the court and in the interest of human right; the court cannot proceed further with his case.
Mr. Sowie also called on the court to give sufficient time so that relevant witnesses could be brought forward.
However, apart from the general charge meted out to the accused persons which related to conspiracy to the defeat of justice, the three suspects may likely face other charges, in connection with the role played in aiding and abetting the escape of the key suspect Alex Romeo and above all, for the unlawful possession of arms and ammunition.
