The Cycling President also revealed that the coming local competition will be done on club basis and that is why he his appealing to interested cyclists or cycling fans to come on board to register clubs.
He also stated that with the introduction of club cycling the executive of the associationwill deal with executive of these clubs instead of dealing with the cyclists directly as what they used to do before.
The Cycling president Winston DC Crowther also revealed that in forming these clubs not more than two elite cyclists will be in one club and new cyclists should dominate the club if the sport should grow in the country.
Club cycling is not only for Freetown but countrywide and will now take the sport to the schools as they need to identify talented cyclists from the schools.
The younger cyclists from these schools will take over from the Moses Sesay and Augustine Sesay when their time fades out and that is why club cycling is very important.
