The chairman of the media committee of the Sierra Leone Football Association, Chernor Ojuku Sesay, has resigned.
In a letter to the secretary general of the Sierra Leone Football Association (SLFA) he states that, “I write to tender my resignation as chairman media committee and Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the Sierra Leone Football Association effective November 30, 2007. My resignation is prompted by the recent appointment by his Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma to serve my country in another capacity as Information Attaché to the Sierra Leone High Commission in the United Kingtom. However, I must confess that I enjoyed every minute of my service to the association especially the working relationship with the secretariat staff, sport writers /producers and the SLFA executive headed by Nahim Kadi whose courage, determination and enthusiasm to raise the standards of Sierra Leone is unquestionable. I’ll endeavour to continue to render valuable assistance towards the progress of the game at any available time”.
