The other match that is expected to be played in the province is between Wusum Stars and Area Base which is the Northern league. The match was to be played on Saturday March 5th at Wusum Grounds on the newly laid artificial turf field but was called off because the field does not have a perimeter fence. The match was also to be played at the Tekoh Barracks but they are having their athletic meeting.
The Bombali District Association Executive is putting plans to find a suitable venue were the match will be played.
This particular match has created serious tension in Makeni due to the elevation of Area Base into the Premier League. That has divided the supporters of Wusum Stars.
