An accused person Prince Donald a carpenter of 18 Blama road in Kenema city has made his final appearance in the high court before the presiding Acting regional High court Judge, Justice Abdulai Shek Fofonah.
According to the particulars of offence Prince Donald on the 14th February 2009 broke and entered the dwelling house of one Foday Abu and stole two pairs of jeans valued Le50.000, one pair of boot valued Le150.000, one mobile phone valued Le150.000 and other assorted items including the sum of Le150.000 in Sierra Leone currency note.
The accused Prince Donald was charged to court for committing the offence of house breaking and larceny contrary to including the sum of Le150.000 in Sierra Leone currency notes. He pleaded guilty to the offence and was sentenced to three years imprisonment.
In the same high court one Alhaji Shek Sheriff of Fornikoh layout in Kenema city also appeared before the high court Judge Justice Abdulai Shek Fofanah on the offence of burglary contrary to section 25 cap (1) and larceny contrary to section 13 cap (A) of the larceny Act of 1916. He was found guilty for the offence and was sentenced to two years six months imprisonment. The matters were prosecuted by the senior state council and customary law officer east Timothy Sowa.
