Brenda Soya, the Chief of the Public Affairs of the American Embassy, has ended a successful mission in Sierra Leone.
The Public Affairs Chief, who has served in the country for some years, at her farewell reception said all the faces present at the “party is an indication that I have done a good work for this country and I am very happy working with the people of this country,” she said.
She stressed that, “my work at the embassy was interesting as I get to meet different people who were really interested in working for their country.
And all through my work, I got to realize that there are Sierra Leoneans who are positive that things would work some day.”
Talking about her work at the embassy, Mrs Soya told the guests that all her achievement had not been done single handedly but that motivation had come from different staff at the embassy especially the ambassador.
