The President of the National Boxing Association Caramba-Coker yesterday received some sporting equipments from the National Olympic Committee (NOC) President Henry Moore at the NOC office at Howe Street in Freetown.
NOC President Henry Moore intimated Awoko that he had a request from the Boxing Association President and as president of NOC he wants to make sure that every sporting discipline benefits from the equipments they received from the International Olympic Committee.
He also mentioned that for the past three months now a number of sporting disciplines, schools and sporting clubs have benefited from these equipments from the NOC.
The equipments received are 15 Punching Bags, 8 Head Guards,7 Gloves, 9 Mouth Guards, 4 Skipping Ropes and 4 Stop Watches.
