The media team of the Sierra Leone Cricket Association (SLCA) have disclosed that the Board of Directors of the Association has appointed Mustapha Kallon to serve as the Local Head Coach for the National Men’s Team with effect from August 1 to December 31, 2021.
According to the media team the Local Head Coach should report to the High-Performance Manager with regards to technical concerns.
Chairman of SLCA Francis Samura has said they are in a transition process following the successful conduct of the 2020 AGM and elective Congress held on Saturday 26th June 2021 in which a new Board was elected charged with the responsibility to administer Sierra Leone Cricket Association for the next 5 years as per our 2020 Memorandum and articles of Association 2021.
In that direction the board also made some appointment and Eustace Jones – current deputy CEO will act as Acting CEO and Head of Management as per Constitution till a new CEO is appointed.
Linda Bull will act as Admin Secretary till a new Secretary is appointed.
Emmanuel Kamara will be working with the Acting CEO to ensure all assets of the Association are listed, recorded and coded for record purposes.
Catherine Fatima Samura and Chrispin George remained part of Management and will continue to provide support to players Coaches and others on day-to-day Management matters.
Alie Sonta, Bockarie Alieu, Sal Jalloh and George Elliot Sam, will be handling all marketing and communication matters as usual.
