Bo Rangers still maintains top spots

Freetown, SIERRA LEONE – In game seven of the Sierra Leone premier league Real Republicans registered their second win in a row in ongoing Sierra Leone premier league when they defeated Kamboi Eagles of Kenema by a lone goal to nil (1-0) to secure 8 points from 7 matches

While in the other match, Bo Rangers the defending champion defeated a well-determined Freetown City FC by a goal to nil at the Bo Mini Stadium the champion still maintains the lead with 17 points from 7 matches while Mighty Blackpool came very strong to trash Wusum Stars at home at the Wusum Stadium in Makeni by 4 goals to nil with three goals scored in the first half of play to take their tally to 15 points.

Also, Bai Bureh Warriors continue their good form against Freetown teams after breaking Freetonians SLIFA unbeaten record in the league by defeating them by two goals to one (2-1) at the Parade grounds to take them up to 5th in the table with 12 points from 7 matches played.

In their last match, they came from Port Loko to defeat Freetown City FC by a goal to nil. Their good run in the league still continues.

For Ports Authority their poor run continues after losing their second match in the ongoing Sierra Leone Premier when they lost to Diamond Stars by two goals to one (2-1) at the Koidu field in Kono.

Diamond Stars has now secured 13 points while Ports Authority is in 5 points from 7 matches.

In another exciting match, the host East End Tigers forced FC Kallon to a two-all draw at the Trade Centre playing field with FC Kallon securing 9 points while the host East End Tigers are in 6 points.

At the Lungi playing field, FC Johansen the host and East End Lions played to a goalless draw to take East End Lions to 13 points while they have 7 points. BT/10/1/2023
