Bo Rangers Football Club on Friday frustrated efforts by Kallon FC from progressing to the top of the league table when they held them to a goalless draw at the Coronation Grounds.
This particular result has frustrated Kallon FC who have drawn three matches in a row which is not a good result for a team fighting to win this year’s trophy. They have played four matches scoring only one goal and securing 6 points.
This makes their chances of winning this year’s league more difficult as the team is not able to live up to standard. A draw or loss in their next match will adversely affect the team.
In the other match played on the same day, Kamboi Eagles in Kenema went very strong to win their first match in the league when they defeated Wusum Stars of Bombail by three goals to one (3-1) in a very exciting and thrilling match.
Some football fans who have witnessed some of these matches in the Premier League have disclosed to Awoko Sports that it seems this year’s Premier League is going to be climaxed with surprises as they stated that some of the big teams might suffer upsets.
The league will continue back at the National Stadium on Thursday between East End Lions and Mount Aureol Galaxy after a two week break.
