The Bo City Council has outlined development activities currently being undertaken.
Addressing the press recently the Bo City Mayor Dr.Wusu Sannoh said that Council remains fully committed to the development of the city more than ever before.
Giving the rundown of council’s ongoing development activities the Chief Administrator William Alpha says a total of 89 primary schools and 23 Junior Schools have benefited from learning materials provided by govt.
He said a good number of streetlights are now installed at strategic locations to help minimize activities involving armed robbery which is on the increase within the township and its surroundings.
He also made mention of activities involving waste management for which a front-loader has been secured by the Bo City Council.
The Chief Administrator further spoke of a funeral home for which contractors have been engaged and that the plan to put up two junior secondary schools for both Kandeh town and Bo2 extension respectively are ongoing.
Ealier Mayor Wusu Sannoh warned school authorities not to misuse the items supplied.
Similar warnings were echoed by the Deputy Mayor Joe Pyne.
In a related development Bo city council has warned stubborn occupants of Maxwell Khobe park to quit as plans are now being made to embark on the much awaited construction which is to be funded by NASSIT.
It must be stated that the demolition of Maxwell Khobe has since come under the spotlight.
