Passengers travelling on the bmi direct flights from the Freetown International Airport to London’s Heathrow terminal can now breathe a sight of relief as the departure time has been reduced by almost two hours.
Effective next Sunday October 26, the flight will now arrive at 18:45 pm and depart at 23:55 pm. For Mondays, the flight will arrive at 17:50 and take off at the same time,
On Wednesdays arrival time is the same as Sunday, and on Fridays it has been estimated to arrive at 19:25 pm. The flight is expected to be on the ground at Heathrow at 06:35 am.
Most commuters have welcomed the time change because of the long hours they normally spend at the Freetown International Airport before the departure of the flight at 2am.
