The Board of Director BKPS headed by APC Bo District Chairman, Sheik Sillah has asked the Chief Executive Officer, Beresford Tagoe and Financial Manager, Seidu Bockarie and other senior managerial officers to immediately proceed on leave starting next August 2009 without fail.
This decision now ends the wide ranging speculations involving sackings and other related decisions alleged to have been in stuck for BKPS management since APC government assumed power.
Speaking in an interview with AWOKO Board Chairman, Sheik Sillah said the decision to send the managerial officers on leave came as no surprise as it is in line with managerial procedures of BKPS. He further said the decision is devoid of any political, tribal or regional sentiments as alleged.
Sheik Sillah also said those sent on leave have had accumulated leave for one reason or the other and that they will resume duty at the end of their leave terms. It is expected that one Mr. Rogers will act as the Chief Executive Officer, while Mr. Fatorma replaces Mr. Bockarie as Financial Manager.
