The presiding Bishop of New Life Ministries International, Bishop (Dr.) J. Archibald Cole, will again be launching two books. The said books are titled: Covenant Mysteries and Prayer Arsenal – the Supernatural Weapon of Mass Destruction. Both books have been described by commentators as profound classics of our time.
The launching has been slated for Sunday, 28th October, 2012 at the New Life Ministries International, Miracle City, at Ross Road in Freetown. Eminent personalities in the field of academia and theology have been consulted to do impressive reviews and write brief commentaries on both books which will be read at the ceremony. In the book Covenant Mysteries, he describes the threat of famine in the land of Bethlehem-Judah that necessitated a move to Moab. The author reminds readers that as a result of this famine, a certain man, Elimelech, decided to migrate with his entire family, Naomi, his wife and two sons, Mahlon and Chilion, from Bethlehem-Judah to Moab. “As the head of the family, Elimelech felt that he had to make a strategic decision about his family`s survival because of the famine. What he did not know was that, that decision was going to adversely impact his entire family. What he meant for good turned out to be to his detriment. It was a decision that took him away from the will of God. He took a decision without consulting the God whom he served.”This is the mindset of the author. He clearly presents this mindset for readability in the volumes of the chapters of the book. He chronologically presents it in the following order: Chapter 1: No Bread in the house of Bread; Chapter 2: A Dangerous Decision; Chapter 3: Don`t go to Moab; Chapter 4: There shall surely be a Visitation; Chapter 5: Back to the Covenant Place; and Chapter 6: Harvest is waiting for you.
With similar fervor, the prolific Bishop speaks of prayer as an arsenal in the second book that is more voluminous with 124 pages, excluding the acknowledgements, dedication, contents page, and introduction. He compares strategic prayer to that of a military depot where weapons of all types, shapes, and sizes are kept. He says, when there is a coupd’état, one of the first places that is secured is the arsenal because the weapons will be needed for both offensive and defensive operations. Furthermore, he says just as soldiers haveweapons that they depend on in the event of an attack so the believer has very potent weapons to oppose the forces of evil.Those weapons he emphasizes are the weapons of prayer. His thoughts in the book are cleverly packaged in the following order:Chapter 1: The Voice, Ministrations, Utterances, of the Blood; Chapter 2:The Alterthat Answers by Fire; Chapter 3: Trans-Generational Battles; Chapter 4:Overcoming Witchcraft Attacks; and Chapter 5: Breaking Evil Patterns.As a fine writer, he captivates the mind of his readers by expressing salient points of what God desires for his people, saying “God being a God of purpose and design never does anything without a definite purpose”.
The write have also authored two books titled Demon, Deliverance, and Demonology and Don`t let Your Dreams Die! Both books have helped humanity in general and believers in particular as they have become quick reference manuals for believers including deliverance workers.
