Makeni, SIERRA LEONE – Banker turned musician Morlai Morse Kamara, also known as “Big Morse,” has announced that he will be releasing a new single titled “Konkey” soon.
While his latest song, “Vanessa,” remains popular, Big Morse explained that “Konkey” aims to draw the attention of Sierra Leoneans to their culture while offering a unique sound that helps listeners relieve stress from the pressures of the modern world.
Big Morse recalled that the word “Konkey” was generally understood as a comic character or jester, known for inciting laughter due to his comical appearance. He noted that his new song, officially premiering on September 8, will depict the value of something that may not initially seem great but holds intrinsic greatness.
The dance moves created by Big Morse and his team at AVO Music and Bruce Empire for “Konkey” are expected to showcase glamour and a unique concept of adding value to the underrated.
