Former Vice President and the man who lost to President Ernest Bai Koroma in 2007, on Monday was at State House to witness the national award on visiting Nigerian President Dr. Goodluck Jonathan.
For many, it was indeed a lucky day to see the man who had toured the length and breadth of the country campaigning for the Presidency which he lost following a run-off of the General elections.
Clad in a grey suit, the man in a quiet manner was noticed shaking hands and exchanging pleasantries while the Secretary-General of the All People’s Congress (APC) Victor Foh also posed for a photograph with the former powerful politician who saved the country from chaos by conceding defeat five years ago.
Today, he is hardly seen in public and only the visit of the Nigerian leader pulled him out of seclusion to face many of those he with or had worked opposed him.
Infact, his presence was the high point of the State House affair, apart from the President conferring Dr. Goodluck Ebele Jonathan with the Grand Commander of the Republic of Sierra Leone (GCRSL).
