High Court Justice Manuela Harding has on Thursday 3rd October 2019 ordered bench warrant for jurors absent in the murder trial of former Chief of Defense Staff (CDS) Lieutenant Colonel Samuel. O. Williams. Only five of the twelve jurors were present during the hearing of the matter. The prosecution has started leading witnesses in evidence. The State prosecutor Joseph A. K. Sesay informed the court that his witness was present in court. He also informed the court that the prosecution has led in evidence four of the five witnesses listed on the back of the indictment. Justice Harding noted that the last time a witness was led in evidence was on 18th October 2018. She blamed the stalling of the matter on the jurors stating that they have been frustrating the matter. The former CDS was killed at his Waterloo resident on 22nd December 2016.
