As the division one playoff competition continues today at the Bo Coronation field, Belvic United will battle against Freetown City Council Football team in a decider to see which team will lead the group.
Both teams have played two matches each and they have secured 4 points each. A win for any of the teams will give them 7 points and have some hope to among the two teams to qualify in that group.
The Chairman of Belvic United Victor Lewis said that the group is wide open and any team in the group has a chance to qualify, that is why they are going to take today’s match very seriously to secure victory at all cost.
He said even though today’s match is not going to be an easy one as their opponent Freetown City Council Football team are a formidable side who can produce positive result.
He appealed to the organizers to provide sufficient security so that the players are protected in and out of the field.
On the other hand Freetown City Council Football team which is enjoying the full support of the management of the City Council are doing everything possible to qualify the team to the premier league as the Mayor has promised the team that if they are able to achieve that he will do everything possible to make the team one of the best premier league teams in the country.
