The sports edition of the Believers Broadcasting Network (BBN) FM 93.0 will tomorrow celebrate its 10th Anniversary as a sports program at a ceremony to be held at their Wilberforce studio.
Speaking to Awoko Sports, the current Presenter of the Program, Ibrahim Okon Koroma said ten years of existence has not been an easy task but that by the grace of God they have been able to achieve some of the aims and objective for which the program was established among which is to provide first hand information on all sporting disciplines and associations in the country.
The sports program, he said, started with five panelists and the initial Presenter by then was Alie D. Bangura and the program was aired only on Saturdays. He said that with time however, another day was added, which was Wednesdays, noting that it too was blessed.
Presenter Okon Koroma disclosed that during the celebration a succinct background of the program would be aired with some of the program’s panelists in attendance to give insights on how it all began. He said their will be a certification of twelve sports personalities in the country and that the ceremony would be climaxed by a football match.
