The BBC World Service flagship program “Africa Have Your Say” will be presenting a unique opportunity to Sierra Leoneans to speak to Africa’s newest President, Ernest Bai Koroma.
The BBC has announced that President Koroma will be the program special guest on Tuesday 9th October 2007, at 1600 GMT and will be available to answer to questions from Sierra Leoneans and the world at large.
The BBC release said that Mr Koroma faces a tough task with the country still in recovery from the civil war.
The President in his address at the state opening of Parliament has said that he is in politics to make a difference and has promised zero tolerance on corruption.
“This is your chance to find out more about President Koroma, the man, what are his passions? How did his interest in politics begin? What kind of profile does he want Sierra Leone to have? What can he do to improve the lives of his people?” said the BBC release.
The release directs that one can have a chance to send in their question by logging on to www.bbcworldservice.com/africa and clicking on “Ask President Koroma”.
