Footie star Al Bangura has claimed that he will be murdered if he is deported to Sierra Leone.
The Watford midfielder fled the wartorn country after refusing to replace his late father as head of a brutal secret society.
He arrived here in 2004 and in July a tribunal gave permission to stay – but a Home Office appeal will be heard next week.
Bangura, 19, whose girlfriend is expecting their first child, said: “I would get hurt – I won’t be safe. Something will happen.
“Someone will come straight up and stab me. I will lose my life.”
