A three man advance party of the South African football delegation has arrived in Sierra Leone to make necessary preparation for the team’s third encounter match with Leone Stars at the National Stadium in Freetown on Saturday.
The team visited several hotel facilities in Freetown where they decided to choose Bintumani hotel as their most preferable hotel. They also looked at the transport facilities from the international Lungi airport to the City and have preferred the hovercraft.
The team and officials with arrive on a chartered flight on Thursday with a 48 man delegation while the other chartered flight will comprise of 38 journalists who will also arrive on the same day around 6am in the morning at the Lungi airport.
The advance party also visited the stadium to look at the facilities especially the pitch and the dressing room.
After the match the team will depart the shores of Sierra Leone for South Africa. Among the advance party are the team manager Sipho Nkumnme who is also accompanied by the Security Officer Zone Cloepha.
