Ports Authority and former goal keeper of the National Team Leone stars was finally laid to rest at the Kissy Road cemetery after Muslim prayers at the Makolor mosque at Ashobi corner at Blackhall Road in Freetown.
The late Brima Attouga Sesay, who was referred to as Small Attouga the Guy, passed away on Monday 30th March 2009 after a short illness.
The late goalkeeper who was married with three children started his football career with Ahymadiyya Muslim Secondary School and later joined his community team, a non division side Up Gunners FC in the Eastern part of the city.
Because of his outstanding performances within the goal post Premier Clubs went for his service and he finally joined Ports Authority football club in the late 1990s.
He was called into the national team Leone Stars where he served as the first choice on several occasions.
The late Attouga will be missed by the football family and friends at home and abroad.
