In Kenema city and else where in the country most people are mostly seen drinking what is known as black tea in various parts of the cities, towns and villages. Now there is more to attire drinking than what critics make of the green tea says the chairman of the newly formed Attire Base Family Mohamed Kabbah during the launching of the Association in the district headquarter town of Kailahun in the Kailahun district east of the country. Chairman Kabbah disclosed that unemployment is high in the district therefore more of the youths are looking for alternative means of livelihood in order to avoid getting involved in trouble. He admonished the people in the district not to look down on them as they are always found holding small cups containing substance of the green tea locally known as Ataya. Kabbah explained that coming together will enable them to discuss problems affecting youths in general and to initiate a common solution to those problems without harming the community. He said that plans are now underway to kick start community development programmes like cleaning exercises and road maintenance activities within the township and the district in general.
