One of the best teams in the ongoing basketball competition, Lumley Dreams after losing their last match to YSC, came back very strong to defeat their opponents Bel-Air by 75-70 in a very stiff encounter.
During the match Bel-Air dominated the first three quarters. In the first they won by 22-15, in the second quarter it was 38-33, and they continued their lead on to the third quarter 51-46.
It was during the last quarter that Lumley Dreams took the day after making several runs and points to win the match by 75-70.
In the other matches played YMCA defeated Freetown Lakes by 89-39, winning the match by 50 points while Bel-air won 26-25. Forceans also won by a single point after defeating Central Phynix by 58-57. In the other encounter Cannon Royals battered their opponents Dinka ‘B” by 119-30 with 89 points.
The competition continues tomorrow between Ashonix and Cannon Royals with 27 matches to go.
