Solomon Sesay, aged 27 years and of White Home Portee was charged with two counts of conspiracy and robbery with aggravation. The particulars is that the accused person with other persons unknown on Tuesday 29th November 2011at no 8 off beach road Aberdeen armed with a gun robbed retired captain Chendeka Sean off the sum of fifteen thousand united states dollars (US$15,000) equivalent to the sum of twenty five Million Leones (Le25 million) and other valuable properties belonging to the said man.
In proving its case the prosecution called four witnesses to testify and then closed its case. In his ruling Magistrate Komba Kamanda said that the prosecution has adduced sufficient evidence to warrant the accused stand his trial in the High Court. The matter was adjourned to the High Court and also committed to the High Court. Bail was refused.
Sergeant 1933 Jah, M. A was the prosecuting officer while the accused person was not legally represented throughout the preliminary investigation.
