Sierra Leone’s ambassador to Liberia, Patrick Foyah, has doled out Le12m towards fees and other charges for 87 Kailahun residents who are undertaking Distant Learning programmes in various disciplines.
The beneficiaries have already pledged their votes for the SLPP.
Amara Kanneh, president of the students’ union of Distant Learning, said they would reciprocate for the payment of their fees by Mr Foyah by casting their votes for Solomon Berewa.
Responding, Patrick Foyah acknowledged the students’ promise but pleaded with them to re-enforce their support so that they might gain more in the future.
This gesture was an initiative by the ambassador to boost the support based of his wife, Alice Mamie, who is fronting the SLPP in the township for the parliamentary poll.
