The American basketball super star player, Amare Stoudemire arrived on Sunday and yesterday paid a courtesy call on the Vice President and President at State House.
At a press conference organized by the presidential Affairs minister Alpha Kanu at state House, Stoudemire said that he had a dream for Africa and when he had the opportunity he decided to visit Africa and to help the people of Sierra Leone.
He advised the youths to take their educational work very serious as he said if he was not educated he will not be able to play basketball up to that level.
He said that Education, Water and Health were his priority because they were very important to every human being.
Stoudemire is here by the invitation of the ZCD Foundation which was founded by Mrs. Zainab Beckett and her Sierra Leonean counterpart early this year.
